Job Responsibilities: 

• Performs application and system software installations and upgrades
• Performs troubleshooting and solving of Middleware/application incidents 
• Communicates with application developers for technical support and issue resolution 
• Executes corrective maintenance on Middleware software 
• Executes corrective actions after failed automated software deployments 
• Ensures support for planned infrastructure and application activities
• Performs restoration of the various server components 
• Manages requests to recover log files or other types of files 
• Performs optimization of the application and the system load 
• Participates in implementation of new projects related to Applications Deployment

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree holder in Computer Science or any relevant discipline 
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT infrastructure role 
• Proven experience of working in a complex IT infrastructure environment 
• Proficient in solution development and implementation with IBM DataPower Gateway (DP) • Excellent in administration and scaling of messaging technologies (MQ) 
• Solid experience in the configuration and maintenance of common applications such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, NTP, TACACS, RADIUS, IPSEC 
• Experience in scaling WebSphere infrastructures and Oracle/ DB2 databases 
• Experience in LAN/WAN/MAN architecture design, data centre network architecture design, network topology (physical and logical) design, structural cabling design 
• Skillful in IBM AIX, SUN Solaris, Linux, and Windows server 
• Solid understanding of ITIL process and SDLC • Exposure to cloud or data center operations will be a plus
